Cindy
A long-time K-9 PALS volunteer fell for Cindy soon after she arrived at the shelter in December 2009 at about a year old. Cindy was hyperactive, but the volunteer taught her lots of good behaviors and with consistent Open Paw training from volunteers, she got better and better. A trip to his family home during Spring Break is all it took to make the decision to keep Cindy as his own. She is now leading the life of a mellow and affectionate dog in her forever home. Crunch
Crunch's two year mark at the shelter was quickly approaching. He was "Dog of the Week" recently with a beautiful photo of him in the paper. It was seen by a couple who recently had their world turned upside down by the passing of their beloved 13-year old lab. The Fates were smiling when the couple came to meet our Crunch. Their intention is to forever baby and spoil him; couldn't happen to a nicer boy. Happy Tails to you, Crunch!

Bailey (lab from Lompoc shelter) found her forever home with a retired couple who will be with her almost 24/7. The adopters drove down from Palo Alto to meet her and fell in love. Aside from hanging out with her new family (and lab sister) in Palo Alto, Bailey will be traveling with her family by RV seeing the countryside. Happy Tails to you, Bailey! |
