Mc Millan
McMillan was an easy foster dog - affectionate, outgoing and well behaved. His mom took him everywhere and she had never been so popular. Everyone wanted to meet McMillan. After only three days in foster, he found his forever home. A young couple with their own business will take him to work every day. A great fit for our charming boy. Happy tails to you, McMillan!

Happy Tails to you, Hannah!
Oakley
Basenji mix Oakley will now be performing his "yodeling" concerts for his new forever family, who are friends of a K-9 PALS founder and long time volunteer. Happy Tails to you, Oakley !

Phantom
Long-time resident, Phantom, who has been at the shelter off and on for over 4 years was adopted by C.A.R.E.4PAWS to continue searching for his forever home. Phantom is fitting in nicely in his new, albeit temporary, home.
Chocko
There seemed to be no reason for Chocko to still be waiting at the shelter to be adopted, except that he was waiting for the right home that happens to be one of our new shelter volunteers and his other recently adopted shelter dog! Happy Tails to you, Chocko!
Vanilla
Sweet, easy-going Vanilla found her forever home today with a "friends of the shelter" family that has adopted from the shelter before. Vanilla's family includes a young boy, girl, and chickens. Thanks to the shelter staff for providing excellent customer service to make this adoption happen even on a Sunday. We hear that Vanilla is settling in nicely enjoying all the family's love, including their beds. Very Happy Tails to Vanilla!

Salem
Salem could not have landed in a better home! Besides being owned by a very caring person who loves animals, Salem has the company of about a dozen horses, cats, rabbits, and another dog living on the property. A very happy tail indeed!
Ranger
Visiting a friend in Santa Barbara was all it took for this Los Angeles dog-experienced couple to find their new best friend...RANGER. They had been looking at shelters in Los Angeles without success, came by SB Animal Shelter and liked what they saw in JAVA, but Ranger's energy, unique looks, and all the great stories provided by staff and volunteers swayed this couple towards Ranger. Ranger gets to look forward to running and hiking with his new family. Happy Tails to you !!
Turk
Turk and Ladybug were adopted together by a wonderful couple who used to be K-9 PALS shelter volunteers many years ago. They fell in love with Ladybug, but just couldn't leave Turk behind. The two will get to stay together forever! Now that's a Happy Tail for everyone!!!
