Josie was picked in a vote by K-9 PALS volunteers to be our featured Pet of the Week for the online Independent, then went to Rods and Roses Festival to find her forever home and was a real attention getter at the event. Josie has had a very busy and exciting week. And to top it off, now she is adopted! Happy Tails to you, Josie!
Elle is what we have to call a "sleeper" at the shelter. A fabulous dog that went unnoticed by prospective adopters until recently. A couple of volunteers took special interest in Elle and began taking her training classes and off site events, and getting some great photos to help pronote adoption for her. Elle was recently spotted by a very lucky woman to be her next best friend and adopted her. Happy Tails to you, Elle!
It didn't take very long for this unique blued white Husky puppy to get adopted. Snow's beautiful looks attracted the interest of a lot of people from as far away as Oregon, Colorado, and Washington. But only one person could be the new owner. Happy Tails to you, Snow!
Little shy Jenna, was taken in by our adoption partner, DAWG, and into a foster home where she blossomed with the help of gentle, patient, suppotive people to help her learn that she didn't need to be afraid of people and the world around her. And now she has been adopted! Happy Tails to you, Jenna!
Boo has gone home with a long time volunteer who has a special place in her heart for the senior dogs with very special needs. She has provided forever homes for several special senior rescue and shelter dogs in the past. Happy Forever Tails for you, Boo.
Pecos, now Hercules has been adopted from DAWG to his forever home. Happy Tails to you, Pecos.
Danny has loved playing and hanging out with all the gorgeous, very social pitty girl dogs from the shelter. A local couple were interested in adopting two pitty mix dogs, and chose Dannny and Taffy. How wonderful for all of them! Happy Tails to you, Danny, and Taffy!
Rollo has been adopted from DAWG in to his forever home by a marvelous kind-hearted and generous lady who is a K-9 PALS supporter and donor. Happy tails to you Rollo!
Rain is such an attractive puppy that she got the interest of lots of volunteers and prospective adopters as soon as she became available for adoption. So it didn't take her too long to get adopted and go to a really nice home. Happy Tails to you, Rain!
Adopted! Albert went through some very bad times with serious medical conditions. Thankfully for Albert, K-9 PALS was there to take care of his veterinary care and expenses. Then DAWG helped by taking Albert into their shelter and placing him in his forever home. Happy Tail :) to you Albert!
