Curtis was rescued from the highest kill shelter in California. Even the hard hearted shelter was smitten by him, giving him 14 extra days, while others only get one.

His foster mom says when she is with him she feels like she's with her best friend!

He's so happy to be with you whether on an adventure or just snoozing. I was sick once and I slept for 10 hours and he slept right along with me. And when I was ready to get up and go, he was right there with me! He's just so easy going.

Such a good dog:

Walks gently on a leash.

Off leash he will stick by your side.

Rarely barks.

Likes to howl with sirens when they go by.

LOVES LOVES car ride!. And will wait for you happily while you run errands.

Avoids conflicts. If a dog growls at him he walks away (even the crazy yapping, biting little dogs that may taunt him).

His Motto: "I'm a lover, not a fighter."

Good hiker. Loves the beach. Loves walks.

Mellow boy. Not high energy.

Gentle. Loves to snuggle. Gives sweet kisses.
