Mindy
Chihuahua
Sex: spayed female
Age: 14 Years
Size: 8 lbs
Mindy takes a short spell to get to know you but once she does she is a spunky little dog - she gets along with some dogs (others not so much); she is a good leash walker and loves to be outdoors for smells but if she sees a big dog she will let them know by her bark that she isn't afraid and will bark them down. She has an adorable face - black and brown with very sweet eyes - even though she is small - she has a powerful personality. She needs one person to guide her through her fears; to hold her and let her know she will be taken care of. She usually likes male dogs but gives the females a hard time. She would make a great companion to a single adult female who will cherish her quirks. Mindy had a very serious leg injury and K-9 PALS provided veterinary care, surgery, hospitalization, and two months of physical therapy and medical boarding for Mindy while she recovered from her surgery. Donations to help us with her expensive veterinary care will be much appreciated! Courtesy post for sbcas shelter, Goleta, 5473 Overpass Rd. Call 805-681-4332 or visit the shelter and tell them you saw Mindy on the K-9 PALS website.
